Photo Series of the Day: From photographer Traer Scott’s Shelter Dogs — a photo book featuring black-and-white portraits of homeless and abandoned dogs living in shelters across America.
By documenting the undeniable expressions of emotion in the dogs encountered in her volunteer work, Scott raises awareness of animal rescue causes, and especially the need for more adoptive homes for abandoned dogs. Scott donates a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of each book to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
